Maurice Christian de Montfalcon

Maurice, has a wide range of knowledge, that includes European Automobiles, with an emphasis on Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and many other European vehicles. He was at one time the Business Partner of Charles C. Howard, of Coy's of Kensington, London, England, during which time, Maurice was responsible for the Acquiring, Buying & Selling of many of the world's finest Coach Built Motor cars, which included such famous cars as; 1911 Rolls-Royce 40/50 hp, London-Edinburgh tourer, Coach Builder Kellner. 1936 Rolls-Royce Phantom III two seat Roadster, by Van Vooren Coachbuilders. 1935 Mercedes Benz 500 'K' Factory Roadster. Possibly one of the greatest Indian automotive imports, was the exotic Maharaja Rewa's open touring Daimler parade car, fitted with a unique and stunning Coach Built Cupronickel Silver Body, by Barker & Co. Ltd.

After being honorably discharged from the British Parachute Regiment, (Circa 1955) Maurice continued buying and selling many different automobiles, along with a wide array of antiques, that included, Pocket Watches and Wrist Watches, Clocks, Jewelry, Porcelain, Chandeliers, Paintings, fine Prints, Photographs, African Bronzes, and Ancestorial carved wooden figures.

Maurice is an expert watch and clock repair person and over the years has acquired a collection of rare antiques and great finds which can be seen at his store in Haworth NJ.
